DSA Applauds Government's Red Tape Reduction Initiative
Friday, January 14th, 2011

"As an industry that is comprised of tens of thousands of small businesses, our members are well aware of the burden of excessive "red tape".  The Direct Sellers Association (DSA) welcomes Prime Minister Harper's announcement that the government will create a Red Tape Reduction Commission.

Our industry strongly supports a regulatory environment that ensures the health and safety of Canadians.  We also believe there are many areas where efficiencies in regulation can be achieved, without compromising these important public policy goals.

The DSA looks forward to working with the commission to eliminate or simplify some of the red tape irritants that have challenged our member companies and their independent sales contractors as they seek to grow their businesses in Canada."
