Becoming a Member
Active Membership:
Available to those companies that use direct selling to distribute consumer products and services in Canada, and voluntarily accepts responsibility for the acts of employees and/or independent salespersons falling within the scope of the DSA's Code of Ethics, Code of Business Practices and Self-Regulatory Procedures, together with other requirements as may be determined by the Board from time to time. Active Members are voting members of the Association.

Subscriber Membership
available to companies who are:
i. currently operating internationally and studying the Canadian market for entry at a future date;
ii. currently operating Canadian-based companies considering diversifying into direct selling at a future date;
iii. not-yet-operating Canadian companies planning to begin direct selling operations within 18 months following their application for subscriber membership.
Subscriber membership is not available to companies that already sell directly or that are suppliers to direct selling companies. Subscriber Members are not voting members of the Association.
Supplier Membership:
Available to companies not eligible as an Active Member, but a firm in good standing engaged in supplying a product or service to the Direct Selling Industry, or as approved by the Board. Supplier Members are not voting members of the Association.
