Community Spirit Award
The Direct Selling Industry and its members are recognized for their big hearts and community spirit. Many individuals touch the lives of others both within Canada and across our borders on a global scope. We would like to honour those who are shining examples of these unique traits which contribute so very much to our industry. The Direct Sellers Association Community Spirit award honours an Independent Sales Consultant whose charitable and/or community service effort have made a profound difference in the lives of others.
2020 Recipient
Jennifer Dekezel, MONAT Global. On top of serving her community while on duty as a full-time police officer, Jennifer also runs a youth mentorship program called Girlz Will Be Girlz. Utilizing the funds she raises through her MONAT business, she mentors’ young girls who live in high-risk and high-crime areas of Toronto and temporarily houses those who need to get away from their current situations. Through her MONAT business she also serves as Gratitude Ambassador, helping to spread awareness by inviting others to embrace the spirit of giving back to those less privileged in their communities.Past Recipients
