Get Involved

The Direct Sellers Association gains its strength and influence from the involvement of volunteers from across its member companies. The more members who get involved, the greater our ability to achieve the Association’s strategic goals and to help our industry prosper.

To express an interest in participating in any of these opportunities, members should contact the DSA at info@dsa.ca.

Committees

A number of committees provide the opportunity for members to be involved in shaping the DSA’s policy priorities and initiatives. Current active committees include:

  • The Government Relations Committee works to influence government policy development, to ensure our members are able to operate in a business environment that is fair and equitable.
  • The Health & Environment Committee deals specifically with advocacy issues relating to the approval and ongoing licensing of various products marketed by direct selling companies, including, but not limited to, healthcare and nutritional products.
  • The Conference Committee plans and executes an annual conference that provides a meaningful educational component and networking experience to members of the DSA.
  • The Communications Committee works to enhance the image of the direct selling industry in Canada by creating awareness, clarifying misconceptions, and sharing success stories.

Boards

Participation on either the Direct Sellers Association board or Direct Sellers Education Foundation board is an opportunity for senior industry executives to steer the Association’s strategic direction and to ensure that the direct selling industry continues to thrive.

Events

Whether at our Annual Conference, regular seminars or community activities, we are often looking for extra hands and minds to assist. Getting involved in events is a rewarding way to network and learn, while supporting the industry.

Partnerships

Many goals are best achieved through collaboration between like-minded parties, such as other associations or interest groups. Whether you are from within the direct selling industry or not, we are interested in hearing ideas and being introduced to opportunities to help us achieve our vision.
