Lynda Rose began her career in the cosmetics industry more than 30 years ago as a model and makeup artist, eventually working with top retailers and beauty brands like Holt Renfrew, Lancôme Cosmetics, Quadrant Cosmetics, and was instrumental in the growth of prestige brands like Giorgio Beverly Hills, Liz Claiborne, Hugo Boss Fragrances, Iman Cosmetics and AG Professional hair care.
In 1998, Lynda started her Mary Kay career as Director of Sales Development and quickly rose the ranks to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, leading the sales development and marketing teams and travelling the country to mentor and guide women – something she continues to do in her current role as General Manager.
Lynda’s dedication to improving entrepreneurship opportunities for women across the country recently led her to be appointed as one of the members of the newly formed Government of Canada’s Advisory Council on Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders where she will share advice and insights on issues affecting women in business.
An active member of the Direct Sellers Association (DSA) of Canada, Lynda has provided her leadership as Chair of the DSA Board and as a result in 2010, she was also honoured with the Ivan P. Phelan award. She was also one of four Mary Kay employees who received the distinguished Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for their significant contribution to the direct selling industry. Today, Lynda serves on the Boards of the DSA and the Look Good Feel Better Board.
